  1. Ibiza Old Town (Dalt Vila)

Situated on a hill overlooking the sea, Ibiza's old town is a maze of narrow streets and whitewashed houses. There you will find numerous restaurants, bars and shops, as well as historical monuments such as the cathedral and the castle. It is also the starting point for your nature excursions. From the old town, you can access Sa Pedreda de Cala d'Hort, just a half-hour walk away, to enjoy the natural swimming pools housed in a cove out of sight and admire the sunset over Es Verda. If you're more into marine discovery, the breathtaking sea caves of Can Marçà are easily accessible from the port of San Miguel. You will be able to admire magnificent stalactites and stalagmites illuminated by the sunlight which slips through the cracks in the rock.

This craggy rock that juts out off the south coast of Ibiza is a magical and mysterious place. On the west coast of Ibiza you will find Cala Llentia beach, famous for its 13 giant menhirs. The place is also known as the Stonehege of Ibiza and gives rise to several theories such as that of extraterrestrials being a compass for UFOs due to its proximity to the islets of Es Verdrà.

The salt pans of Ibiza are a unique and fascinating natural landscape. You can discover the different stages of salt production, as well as the fauna and flora that have developed there. Allow around an hour and a half to walk to discover Las Salinas as well as the characteristic defense towers of Sal Rosa and its Gates. The Phoenician colony of Sa Caleta and of course one of the jewels of the island with the magnificent beaches of Es Cavallet and Las Salinas.

Located north of Ibiza, Moscarter Lighthouse is the tallest lighthouse on the island. Allow around ten km, starting from the Portinax beach car park, then discover the view from the heights with its sublime shades of white and blue. Swimming is required during this walk along the coast. There you can admire a breathtaking view of the coast, the neighboring islands and the islets of Ses Formigues.

The Santa Eulalia River is the only river in the Balearic Islands. Access to the river will take you through the Pont Vell in order to reach the river delta at the beach. For those who wish, it is possible to climb Puig de Missa de Santa Eulalia. You can go hiking or mountain biking there and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding landscapes and the many museums there.

Sant Mateu is a charming little town located in the center of Ibiza. There you can visit the vineyards and enjoy a tasting session at Bodega Can Maymo of locally produced wines. Special mention for Monastrel, a traditional red wine, and Moscatel, an internationally renowned white wine.

  1. The Cueva de la Luz

La Cueva de la Luz is a sea cave located in the north of Ibiza. It is a magical and mysterious place, accessible only by sea. You can delight in the tinted walls of the cave as well as the interior lakes and sandbanks cut off from the world with just you and your companions. We advise you to arrive during the central hours of the day, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. This is when the light enters the cave and creates a spectacle that will not leave you indifferent.

  1. The Gates of the Sky

This unmissable place hidden between the green pines at the exit of Santa Inés is a rock formation of Ses Margalides resembling a door where the sea in its center gives the impression of extending to infinity. It is recommended to go to Las Puertas del cielo to watch the sunset, for a guaranteed moment of tranquility.
